Kids & Astronauts is a three peice Indie/Rock band from Franklin, Indiana. Kids & Astronauts formed Febuary of 2006 with current members Anthony Savage, and Chris Stephens and former members Daniel Robertson and Neal Wells. They originally intended on playing the Metal, but later started playing punk. Shortly before their very first show Daniel and Chris decided to leave for different bands, Chris later reconsidered and join back up with them shortly afterwards. After the loosing their second guitarist they found Trevor Jarret, who joined them shortly before their first show. They played several shows with that line-up including shows at venues such as:

After playing these venues Neal Wells left the band to pursue in a different band, they soon found current drummer Jay Jewl. Soon after Jay joined Kids & Astronauts the band got their first show at the Emerson Theater with The Are You Ready's and Same As Sunday. Soon after playing at the Clubhouse with bands The Risk and Chicken Poodle Soup, Trevor left the band for undisclosed reasons, leaving Pylorus as Anthony Savage, Chris Stephens, and Jay Jewl. After recording and producing their demo with X91 Records, and playing IFX Radio's Christmas Slam at The Gear in Franklin, Kids & Astronauts found Aaron Singer. Aaron played 3 shows before deciding to leave the band for undisclosed reasons, leaving them again with Anthony Savage, Chris Stephens, and Jay Jewl. They are plannning on having their first Tour in the summer of '08 for the release of their very first full length album with X91 and A.F.A. Records. The release is planned for June '08, the release party destination is yet to be announced.
